Boa
Kwon, born on November 5, 1986, is a Korean singer whose been
musically active since the age of eleven in various countries like
her home country, Japan, and even United States. She was just eleven
years old when SM Entertainment talent scouts noticed her as she
accompanied her older brother for a talent search. She was asked to
signed in as a talent the same night of the auditions, and started
her training as a singer and a dancer.

BoA is very successful in Korea and I heard that S.M. Entertainment, one of the biggest and strictest entertainment company let her have a share of the incomes that the company earn in order to prevent her from joining another company.
